Who are we
House of Offshore Innovation is a newly renovated, sustainable building of approximately 7,000m2 with an open office environment, bright and spacious surroundings and beautiful outdoor areas on the quayside of Esbjerg.
The house is designed for cooperation and community, and is therefore built with networking, co-creation and new innovation in mind.
At the inauguration in 2020, there were a total of 24 companies and organizations as tenants in the house.
House of Offshore Innovation is created and owned by NorSea Denmark.
History
Established in the 1970's and a pioneering time for the Offshore Industry in Denmark, our building was established as a combined office and warehouse building facilitating use by a mix of companies working in the Offshore Industry.
It has been important for us to be true to the heritage of the building. Thus, it is designed with an industrial look with visual concrete beams, airduct and open ceilings.
Sustainability
Sustainability and re-use has been key in the establishment of the building. We have re-used the original concrete structure, we have opened the surface of the building and created light towers that enable maximum utilization of daylight as the primary light source supplied when needed with automatic LED light.
We have installed energy glass in all windows and multiple truckloads of insulation in walls and roof.
Our new heating and ventilation system are intelligently constructed to allow for individual room control and heat recovery to limit energy consumption significantly.
